2011 has been a busy one for Jahan, what with the opening of our new restaurant in Melling in the summer and the recent 6th anniversary celebrations in Walton.

Our event falls just two days before Children in Need 2011 and as a local business we want to support the children and charities in our local area.  Alder Hey is one of Europe’s biggest and busiest children’s hospitals, providing care for over 200,000 children and their families each year.

We hope you can join us on this very special night.  You can look forward to a 3 course traditional Indian meal, prize raffle and live entertainment.  Tickets are just £17.99 and £8.95 for children under 12.

We’ve put together three very special Christmas menus, each with a specific meal experience in mind.

The Christmas Party menu is the one for you if you’re looking for a venue and menu to suit larger bookings, perhaps for your work’s Christmas do or that big get together with friends.

Our Christmas Day menu in available at the Melling restaurant which is open 12- 4pm.  We have a traditional Turkey dinner served with all the trimmings or an Indian meal option for an alternative Christmas Dinner.

The Melling & Walton restaurants are open on New Years Eve and again have a number of 3 course meal options for you to choose from including your choice of dishes from our a la carte menu or lamb and chicken dinner options.

The opening party was attended by over 250 local residents and businesses who helped us celebrate arriving in Merseyside.  It was a glorious evening filled with lots of sunshine, laughter, entertainment and fine Indian food.

Guests were treated to a champagne reception, early evening fun and games in the garden which kept the children entertained and a delicious Indian buffet.  A local Bollywood dancer and an electric fire performance ended the night.

The new Jahan restaurant and bar is located at the old Hen & Chickens Pub on Prescot Road. Taste our fantastic Indian cuisine and experience some breathtaking entertainment suitable for all the family.

Located just off junction 1 of the M58, we have taken over the Hen & Chickens pub which is currently undergoing major refurbishment as we prepare for its re-launch as Jahan, restaurant and bar.

Our new Jahan will have space for more than 150 diners as well as a large separate bar area. With a huge car park, garden and children’s play area we will have great facilities for all of the family and make the ideal venue for a summer party or private celebration.
